Review: Photos of Me Without Me, currently showing at wall space gallery, is reviewed in the article 'New Pictorial Ways and Means' by Josef Woodard, Santa Barbara News Press: "From the more deliciously simple end of the technical spectrum, Odette England's "Without Me" series features deceptively casual snapshots with the portrait of the artist cut out. Group exhibition: Two images from the series Photos of Me Without Me are selected for New Directions 2012 at wall space gallery, CA.  Exhibition runs 4 January - 29 January 2012 (Santa Barbara) and 8 February to 4 March 2012 (Seattle).

Competition: Odette is awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2011 Lens Culture International Exposure Awards.  Her Self Diagnosis series was selected from an overwhelming amount of entries received from photographers in 48 countries.

Fellowship: Odette is awarded a $4,000 Graduate Studies Dean's Fellowship by the Rhode Island School of Design.

Publication: Two images from Photos of Me Without Me are published in Mapping the Intelligence of Artistic Work, written by curator and RISD critic Anne West.  Available from Moth Press. 

Group exhibition: Works from Photos of Me Without Me and Self Diagnosis will be shown in Photography Triennial at the Woods-Gerry Gallery, Providence, RI.  Opening reception October 6; runs October 7-16, 2011. 

Group exhibition: Works from Photos of Me Without Me will also feature at the Sol Koffler Gallery in Providence, RI, in On the Threshold of Something Else, Something Other.  Opening reception October 6; runs October 7-23, 2011.

Competition & exhibition: Odette has been awarded Third Prize in the Photo Review 2011 Competition.  Her winning image, X, from the series Self Diagnosis, will be shown at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts’ Gallery from September 23.

Artist talk: Odette will deliver a presentation on her ongoing series The Farm at the Graduate Studies Forum on Research & Creative Work, as part of Welcome Week at the Rhode Island School of Design.  Tuesday September 13, 4-6pm, Metcalf Auditorium, Chace Center, Providence.

Group exhibition: Two works from Photos of Me Without Me are selected for the International Print Center New York New Prints 2011 / Autumn, their 40th Anniversary New Prints show.  The show will run from November 3, 2011 to January 7, 2012.  It will also tour to the Visual Arts Center at the University of Texas (Austin) from January 27 to March 10, 2012.

Online: Images from Self Diagnosis are showcased on Light Journeys, an online gallery of the work of Australian women artists working in photo media.

Group exhibition: Images from As Above So Below will be shown at KLOMPCHING GALLERY in 'Land', an exhibition of photographs that demonstrate the different ways in which artists engage with the concept of landscape.  From June 15 to July 15, 2012.

Group exhibition: Images from Self Diagnosis have been selected for the Galerie Huit Photography Open Salon 2011 exhibition 'Transience', which will feature during and alongside the renowned international photography festival, Les Rencontres d’Arles in France from July 4 until September 18, 2011.  The images will also be exhibited in Galerie Huit Penang, Malaysia in January 2012.
